Defensive Driving

At Always First Driving Academy we realize that defensive driving is more than a term or time spent in a classroom environment.  Defensive driving is a state of mind.  How do we interact with other road users?  Do we have the proper space cushion?  Do we get the big picture in our driving environment?  Can we anticipate what is coming ahead?  Where is the next potential hazard?

Those are just a few of the many questions necessary to be answered in order to be a good, safe defensive driver.  We will train you to adhere to your driving environment and be better able to react to situations before they can occur.

How well can you parallel park?  Did you know that a person who knows how to parallel park has a 5 times greater chance of avoiding a collision than a person who does not?  Why?  Because a person who can parallel park well, better understands the maneuverability of their vehicle and thus is better able to avoid a collision or any hazard they may face on our roadways.
